“Everything is possible!”
Kaiser was founded in 1984 by entrepreneurial couple Gisa and Adi Kaiser. Originally, Kaiser sought to obtain follow-up orders from mail order companies. The most important factors here were in-depth market knowledge on the procurement side as well as detailed information on available production capacities in order to be able to deliver end products in the shortest possible time. In those days, their home served as their “headquarters”, while their living room was used as a “showroom”.
The business grew steadily and rapidly, though the spirit of those early days can still be felt today and has thus become the company’s guiding principle: “Everything is possible!” In the early 90s, Kaiser was one of the first clothing manufacturers to establish successful business cooperations with local combines on the territory of the Soviet Union, enhancing them technically and successfully running production for many years in these countries.
Kaiser first began manufacturing in the Far East in the mid-90s – mainly in Vietnam and China initially. Today, most of Kaiser’s manufacturing facilities are located in the Far East. The newly built company headquarters opened in 1999.
Company founder Adolf Kaiser passed away on November 14, 2005. For many years, his unique entrepreneurial personality had shaped the company from its modest beginnings. In the last years of his life, he was able to enjoy his well-earned retirement in the circle of his family and practicing his hobby – aviation.
In the same year, Kaiser opened its new logistics center. With over 20.000 sqm of floor space, it was now possible to pursue a strategy of vertical integration and meet the increased logistical requirements of the market.
In 2014, a state-of-the-art logistics center with a storage area of about 60.000 sqm and storage capacity of about 1.5 million hanging garments was built not far from the old company headquarters. Modern office spaces and all the necessary technical standards now provide a more efficient and pleasant working environment for our qualified employees, which helps them tackle the challenges of a complex and international industry.
Today, the company is managed by brothers Michael and Stefan Kaiser.
